Description of service
LandBenchmark is a web app that generates land-risk reports for parcels you select, using satellite imagery, open map data, and derived signals. It is intended to help you get an early, high-level read on a piece of land.
Informational only — not professional advice
LandBenchmark reports are for informational purposes only.
They are not a land survey, a flood determination, or legal, engineering, environmental, financial, or other professional advice. Do not rely on LandBenchmark as the sole basis for a purchase, development, or other decision. Always verify conditions on the ground and consult qualified professionals before acting.
No warranty & accuracy limits
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Satellite imagery, OpenStreetMap data, and derived signals may be incomplete, out of date, misaligned, or inaccurate. Coverage and freshness vary by location and provider. We do not guarantee that any report is correct, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including: attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, scraping or overloading it, violating any applicable law, infringing others' rights, or using reports in a way that could mislead others about their reliability.
Accounts
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LandBenchmark and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its reports. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the prior twelve months.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
